IN THIS EPISODE: Holmes is captured by the North Vietnamese, where his cage-mate is a rather existential Frenchman. Meanwhile, he learns to relish his role as the tug-o-war rope between the NVA, the Viet Cong, and the Americans. At least, that's what he thinks. The Viet Cong just want to kill him...

THE STORY - Joe Holmes is a hapless idiot drafted into the Vietnam War, bearing the curse of death his family has endured in every major American conflict since the Revolution. Follow his exploits and idiocy has he tries to navigate the perilous world of short-timers, Viet Cong, crazy Colonels, inept Lieutenants, angry fellow soldiers and his own mental deficiency.
