  • yeah... hp laptop, I have a dv3. It's pretty crappy. Overheats very often and the graphics card on this laptop is just terrible. I don't know why they sold it as an "entertainment laptop".

  • Keep the hard drive level as i shake it in my hands for the camera. lol

  • I have the same exact laptop, that HP pavilion was the biggest piece of shit ive ever had

  • Are you supposed to be professionals or something? it funny how you had to cut out all the actual work and you did a half-ass job by just blowing it out. If you want to clean it propper, a brush should be used, you don't want to blow all that dust deeper into your components.

  • please help i have a dv9 and it dosent reconised my sound driver and my mic built in it dosent work please help

  • so... shaking your hardrive will kill it :l

  • @nicknafp besides the heating problem and the noise of the fan its great!

  • @Elfenomenokp there is on the computer data (start -->all programs-->hp).find a base that the fan is just bellow the processor opening..Is working fine for me...The fan starts wourking 100% when i push it with programs and games.Wach out the MINIMUM incliment of the cooler base. Some are to high ....(i love dv7 thought)

  • @nicknafp haven't noticed that about the manual..i'll check it out...i have a small base too..but it's a crappy one and i was wondering if its worth it to buy a more expensive one..but if u say it works im gonna buy a better one ;)

  • @Elfenomenokpprobably is the i7 core..the manual shows exacly where is the prossesor tunel for heat.i bought a double fan cold base and works fine..:-)

  • @nicknafp i couldn't agree more. i have the exact same laptop and i was wondering if anyone else has the same problem...

  • I have that same exact computer and i had overheating problems. It got so hot that the processor got messed up and i had to replace the motherboard!
