Is it possible that over time as we evolve the more we eat more high fat and sugary foods our digestive system would be able to process the foods at a much quicker rate therefore we'd be less overweight? Would that mean we'd be able to eat foods with more calories and bigger sized portions? Just my hypothesis. Although that isn't good because we inevitably would ruin the environment one way or another due to overpopulation and more resources, crops and animals to make the food.

That's a problem if you always get more calories than you need, however, because your body keeps adding more fat that will never be used. And the buildup of fat is unhealthy as it can stress your body frame and lead to conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, and certain cancers.

Commercial table sugar (sucrose) is usually produced from either sugar cane or sugar beets.
