Is it possible that over time as we evolve the more we eat more high fat and sugary foods our digestive system would be able to process the foods at a much quicker rate therefore we'd be less overweight? Would that mean we'd be able to eat foods with more calories and bigger sized portions? Just my hypothesis. Although that isn't good because we inevitably would ruin the environment one way or another due to overpopulation and more resources, crops and animals to make the food.

Cane sugar and raw sugar come from sugar cane, the sugar we normally use comes from carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen.

evolved to take the extra calories and store them as body fat, for later consumption. That's a problem if you always get more calories than you need, however, because your body keeps adding more fat that will never be used. And the buildup of fat is unhealthy as it can stress your body frame and lead to conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, and certain cancers.

Commercial table sugar (sucrose) is usually produced from either sugar cane or sugar beets. Other sugars (such as glucose, fructose, lactose, etc.) occur naturally in foods, especially fruit and milk. While sugar isn't unhealthy per se, it's unhealthy to consume to much of any nutrient. Sugar is very tasty, so we use it a lot in our foods; that's why it's easy to get too much. Consuming too much sugar results in an intake of more calories than the body is able to process. The human body has
