Singer and ukulele player, Cali Rose, performs the television theme song from the Andy Griffith Show. But no whistling. It's called "The Fishing Hole" and she is entertaining on the Promenade Stage at The Wine Country Ukulele Festival in St. Helena, California, September 2010. This song is on her album "Are You Having Any Fun?" which is available online (CD Baby, iTunes, Amazon) and at her website: http://www.calirose.com

  • p.s. Someone doing a pubic radio show played your music one night and said that your real name was Carol not Cali. Was he right?

  • @HunterMann That's pretty cool that an NPR station is playing this song. Thanks for letting me know. My name is Cali. Not Carol. So there you go.

  • Nice arrangement Carol!! I think that you could easily build a house concert tour around this song! Thanks for the superb arranging and uke/vocals groove!

  • @HunterMann Thanks again HunterMann. I love to do house concerts and already do over 150 shows a year. Happy Strumming to you.

  • I loved it Cali. Thanks.

  • @smyrna5 Thanks Much! This song is SO ukulele friendly. I do it in "F" for "fish"

  • Nice to hear the words from this! Your instrumental in the middle is awesome! When I play it people start whistling and snapping their fingers!! Thanks for posting!! Cheers, Bunny

  • @jinfuuu Hi Parker and thank you for watching my video. I live and perform in Los Angeles. Once in a while I venture out so maybe we will meet up one of these days.

BTW, you play SO beautifully and have a wonderful feel and great chops on the uke. I hope you get a chance to play out and share your music with other people. Best to you...
