@pingpongman6543 It's situational. There's a specific stage with endless waves of enemy grunts where you can get nearly infinite kills if you use the regular Ideon Gun counter instead of the MAP weapon attack. It takes a lot of work to raise the Id Gauge to the point that you can use the Ideon Gun, and the MAP weapon empties your Id Gauge back to zero pretty much immediately. The regular attack does not suffer this drawback.
