  • thank you freesoul for opening this discussion. I am a teacher and this is a subject close to my heart. "No child Left Behind" has turned teachers into technocrats and our children into robots. the process of learning and of teaching are creative endeavors...yes, we are NOT statistics or spreadsheets to be analyzed, we are individual people(s). What do we as a nation invest in...war...OR our next generation? What values do we embrace? Treat our teachers well and invest in our children.

  • indeed...we don't need robots....we need truth seekers and finders...

  • greetings friend, thanks for your courage to tell the truth, to speak of benevolence...just imagine a day when those numbers are reversed and 600 billion is spent on education. peace to you...respect

  • maybe it can come sooner than later... ;D

  • Dude, i got the same herbal diet as you nowdays...

  • When you say "peoples", do you mean all peoples, or just the peoples who are representing Afrocentristic styles in particular the peoples of Jamaica and the pale skinned euro decedents who imitate, and emulate them through the greatest forms of flattery?

  • Freesouljah, You are a dangerous man 2 the establishment & your power demanded that they respond 2 you in particular regarding the Davos answer you gave. You are forgetting 2 mention in this video, however, that they're intentionally dumbing down our children & they're soon going 2 no longer want our children 2 be able 2 compete with other nations. We are supposed 2 let nations that accept lower wages become the world leaders and we are 2B mere consumers & working taxpayers whom they can exploit

  • Continue making your videos. Keep spreading your message. I strongly agree what you say. Have your friends create similar videos with the same message. By having more people spreading the message, the better chance it has to be heard.

  • WAR not in my name. Children are individuals, tests create failure, but our children our lucky to be educated. Knowledge is powerful and useful. Access to information so much easier n freer now, war who is it good for? huh. Be good for children to learn to grow veg at school!!! We must be the change we wish 2 c in da world. Children are the future, every little good thing helps. one love xxx

  • No Child Left Behind, the Act Margaret Spelling mentioned, allows military recruiters to access the home and contact information of every student in every public high school. They must fill out an "opt-out" form so they don't get contacted by recruiters. They claim that this allows military recruiters "equal and fair access" to college recruiters. I think it is an invasion of privacy and disrespectful. Last year, the military spent 28 billion on recruiting. Colleges DO NOT spend that

  • more people have to start getting ethical and brain storm together hear onb youtube or other wise and figure out how to take effective action agianst the issues brought up hear on you tube because im here every day browsing and i see the issues being brought up from A2Z but aside from expressing ourselves not enough is going on in peoples lives after they leave the screen me included

  • Cool! I wish we did a much better job with the money that we do put into education. In CA we spent a lot more on education in 2007 than we did in 2006 and we have fewer students in the public school system. Half of our problem is that a large percentage of the students in the system don't speak english, or don't speak english well enough to benefit from the the system. Money might not be the answer here, but one thing is for sure spending more money on the tools of violence is no help.
