this is what happens when you let rednecks get a hold of snow!

whats that noise, is it a sewing machine?

I've had an idea of 2-stroke 3 cylinder engine in aluminium, a large high pressure turbo and electric direct-injection. Would have a lot more power and would kick better than 4-stroke, the choice of most engineers now for custom-diesel snowmobiles. The number one problem is the diesels high ignition temperature -hard coldstarts, and slow throttle respond. An 2-stroke diesel can easy deliver 100 hp from 1 000 cm3 and would have a quick respond curve.
With piston ports youll have a light engine.

right thats like warm up ??lol

Wow just by the looks of it you did some work to get that thing going. Did you mod the motor at all? Good job on the sled keep up the good work.

@paintballforever24, didn't think that funny at all, gotta have a big alternator to recharge the battery up after it started up after glow plugs was used -_-, a standard snowmobile alternator only puts out 15 amps, and the battery required for diesel engine is the highest cranking amps

cute turbo
What kind of dyno run was that? I thought u had to apply throttle?

@quadrunner06 it's a dyno run/emmisions testing. constant throttle for emission testing
