Janet Paschal sings "It Won't Rain Always", an amazing song written by who else? Bill and Gloria Gaither with Aaron Wilburn. This is from the gaither homecoming video "God Bless America", David Phelps and Charlotte Ritchie sing in the background, very pretty.

Lyrics: (written by Bill and Gloria Gaither, and Aaron Wilburn)

someone said, that in this life
some rain is bound to fall
and each one sheads his share of tears
and trouble, troubles us all,
but the hurt, won't hurt forever
and the tears are bound to dry.

and it won't rain always
the clouds will soon be gone
the sun that they've been hiding
has been there all along
and it wont rain always
God's promises are true
the suns gonna shine
in His own good time
and He will see you through
the suns gonna shine
in God's own good time
and he will see you through

  • cecille51753@yahoo.comi just love to hear Janet Paschal's voice singing all the songs. i love singing her songs.just now i keep repeating this song and i can't help shedding my tears. everynight since i underwent surgery from a terminal ovarian cancer 2 years ago., (the doctor gave me 3 years to live) i prayed to God for His mercy in behalf of my 7 children and grandson. Even then, so with Janet who also had cancer, I trust God's love will see and sustain me through beyond all CANCER!!!!!!!

  • she hugged me when i was a little kid...

  • @delores734 I am so sorry for your loss. I pray that God has begun the healing in your heart and is there to comfort you.

This song is something I needed to hear for a different type of loss. It is such a blessing as is the sweet lady who sings it.

  • I have watched this sweet lady for years and she has the same beautiful smile she always has had though, she's been through she battled cancer.I love to hear her sing. We all face our on battles in this life, but God promised He'd never leave us nor forsake us. When I lost my 16yr old son in a car wreck in 94.I was so devastated and helpless, hopeless, but I knew He was carrying me and this song is so true. It won't rain always, you'll feel the SON shine again, but you will still have bad days 2

  • @delores734 I am so sorry to hear about your daughter. I too lost my youngest son in 94in a car wreck. He was 16. We are never prepared to have to bury a child, they are supose to bury us.My strong faith in God and reaching out to The Commpassionate Friends helped me alot.I read every self help book written by someone who had lost a child, because only they truely know what we are going through. My heart breaks for for you.Give yourself all the time you need to grieve & heal.God Bless you!

  • @MsJsummers, Joann this must be by devine appointment..I've looked at this video and listened to this song on here and it makes me cry so hard, but yet it lets me know honey one day we are gonna see our children again .I have never read your message on here.So I know it's was God's will.I still have bad days and today was one of them. I miss William more than words can say,but to a mother who has walked the same path, I know you know what it's like, but double.I've just walked it longer.GodBless

  • I once asked Hoover4000 who this was - I was diagnosed with cancer in 2004 and this keeps my chin up - Hoover4000... as I said before, Thanks - you and Janet gave me what I needed.

  • this goes out to T, G A, and L. love you

  • @delores734 My heart aches for you. You have such a long journey of sadness ahead of you, but there is comfort in God...faith that there was a need greater than our minds and hearts can imagine. Losing children is the greatest loss a person can experience. I lost two daughters in a car accident in 2005 and the hole in my heart is still bleeding, but not flooding. It takes time and God to get to the place where you can trust again. Have faith and keep talking about it...That helps the most!
