@illmitchjax hmm some reasearch. The one inch punch theory was tested over and over again,people trying to improve it impossible. It never was. Watch, look and learn about Bruce, his history, his determination on and off the "battlefield" he was a visionary, A one in a million, it's legit, and I can only imagine what levels he may have taken martial arts should he have not died so tragicly young.

@illmitchjax Supposing the other guy were to brace for the hit and thus not be sent back onto a chair, that would mean all of the force would be concentrated into his chest causing some serious damage. The mecahnics of delivering a powerful punch from a short distance is what this demonstration is. If the guy was to stand more to the side with one of his legs back then the punch would naturally be delivered from a different angle because the target is always a person's centre line.

look at the stance of the guy he pushes (sorry I mean punches), he has both his stance completely front on...
When his weight is pushed backwards he needs to place one of his legs behind himself to support himself (he would then be in something approaching an actual combat stance)... but he can't do that because there is a chair in the way...
he is nudged off balance, THIS IS A PARTY TRICK, NOT A POWERFUL PUNCH
