  • The Eucharist does not infuse salvation into a believer,The belief in Jesus finished work on the cross does.

  • If a literal interpretation of John 6 is correct, then the Eucharist indeed provides salvation. As for Jesus' finished work on the cross, WHERE in the OT was a single animal sacrifice reduced solely to the death of the animal? Anyone in Israel could slay the lamb or goat. The true priestly role was offering up the slain animal after the fact by bringing the blood into the sanctuary of the temple. That is what Jesus did (Hebrews 9) and what He continues to do. His sacrifice is ongoing.

  • Excellent exposition of the Truth. Please keep up the good work Bro.

May the love and grace of God rest on you and remain with you forever.

    God Bless

  • I appreciate you as a fellow Christian. You you are a scripturally educated Catholic and I believe you have a firm and personal faith in our blessed Lord Jesus as your Saviour. But I think you must also realize that you are a rare commodity in the nominal Roman Catholic Church. Even the Pope needs to listen to you because neither he nor his predecessor's in the past 100 have presented the Gospel as clearly as you did. Possibly because they didn't know it as you do! May God unite us in Christ!

  • Smh96 God bless you. Those who are not Catholic should really do some research on our faith first. We were the first Church, instituted by Christ. There have been miracles done, and scientifically admitted that when a physical transubstantiation occurred, they were actually transformed into blood and flesh, particularly heart tissue and type AB blood. Also, they should look at Fatima and the miracle of the Sun, where 70,000 people witnessed the miracle.

  • You are such a perfect example of incredible delusion. Is Catholicism divine?

  • We are to put Christ first, above EVERYTHING, even self which can be the ultimate hurdle. He gave it all for us on the cross and expects us to do the same. 1 Corinthians 10 taken in context is warning against divided loyalty. Isn't committing to live a life totally surrendered to God more meaningful than any religious observance?

  • damn protestants Catholic power!

  • To deny that Mary is the mother of God is to deny the divinity of Jesus Christ.

  • The Preist,The Woman and The Confessional; A book by Father Chiniquy. Find it, read it and get ready to feel disgusted.

  • Smh96 - I am a strong supporter of the Catholic Church. That being said...with deep respect I ask you to not criticize people for their spelling or do anything that diminishes the delivery of your argument. Although my degree is in business and I spent most of my career in the military, Christian apologetics is one of my greatest passions. The argument you present is logically sound, though your delivery needs more love. Trust me on this one brother and keep defending our Church. God Bless You!

  • I do read history. I have academic credentials, you do not. And now there is another thing that separates us, I can comment on this wall and you cannot. You are blocked, your comments are deleted. Learn how to spell, learn correct grammar, and actually open up a history book instead of going to some anti-catholic website. Have a nice day.

  • Freedom of speech applies to spoken language in PUBLIC. This is MY youtube video comment board, and I'm in charge here. The constitution doesn't mean I can't delete your idiotic comments full of poor spelling and grammar.

My issue with you is you don't BACK UP WHAT YOU SAY. If you did, I wouldn't delete what you say. So don't make this out to be me hating free speech. I hate STUPID, UNINTELLIGENT SPEECH. So either shape up or ship out. Final warning.

  • Hamlets, I warned you. If you want to play historian, you have to BACK UP what you say. I have a history BA; I know what I am talking about. You, apparently, do not. So if you want to be taken seriously, and not have your post deleted, then you are going to have to provide SOURCES that back up your claims. Burden of proof is on you, the one making the wild assertions. PLEASE don't make another comment if you aren't going to back yourself up. I will just delete it.

  • Oh, and if you continue to post without backing up your assertions, then I will promptly delete your comments. If you bring evidence to the table to support your "Constantine started Catholicism" rant, then I won't delete them. But as of now, it appears you are just regurgitating an anti-catholic urban legend with no more support that the bogus argument that Constantine put the canon of the Bible together at Nicaea.

  • Hamlets, you are being absurd. You wanna play historian? Okay, let's go. Provide historical EVIDENCE to support your assertions. And no, I don't mean expect us to believe anything you say on the basis of your own authority. Try citing primary and secondary sources. It seems to me that you are taking the date of the famous Edict of Milan, signed by Constantine and Licinius, and acting as if that is the date when Catholicism started. Very amateurish. What is your evidence?

  • Thank you for responding. Many non-catholics do not understand catholic doctrine because some protestant clergy twist the facts. I speak from first hand experience because my grandparents are evangelical pentecostals and don't understand my catholic faith as a result of their pastors.

  • HEIL! CONSTANTINE HEIL! CONSTANTINE the father and founder of the ROMAN catolic sect in the yr 313 and dont forget that constantine also built the old basilica of st peter, end of argument

  • Jesus said to PETER: on this rock I will build my church, not Constantine.
