I think someone should port the 1983 classic "Manic Miner" (a game "inspired" by Miner 2049er) to both the 2600 and 5200.

I spent MANY an hour playing this game as a kid.

The 2600 version had three levels, not one. There was a sequel that had three more levels.
Also, you're missing a very important part of the gameplay here: whenever you collect one of the bonus objects and the mutants change, you can run into them for a short time and remove them from the screen. Makes the game easier.
Give it a try using that technique and see if your original rating of the game doesn't go up by a grade or two ;)
