Hi Noemi,

For our distance training we started when Ocean was a pup with a 'target', whether it was a mat, a tunnel a table, a toy... It didn't matter, just something that propmpted her to 'go away' from me. And when she goes away from me, I reward her 'away' from me, meaning I toss the treat or toy to her while she is away, not when she comes back.

Yes! Duchess and I are very excited (well, I'm very excited) about the opportunity! I KNOW we qualify in Jumpers, and, I think, we qualify in Hoopers. I have put my question out on the NADAC yahoo group. We shall see what happens! :-)
