Very little, I've had 14 implants total and I can honestly tell you the pain was more in the extraction of my tooth and the bone graft healing process. The actual implantation is virtually painless, that's the least pain of the whole ordeal, besides, your bone has no nerves, only the gums, but Novocaine and nitrous oxide make that part painless!!

I had 7 implants in total.. scary on the first 3 holes but it'll be fine succeeding holes.. it is really an ultimate solution to replacing missing teeth.. now, I can bite anything I wanted and always forgetting I used to have a missing teeth... lol...
