  • He's "awesome" because...? Because he's saying he's going to kill people with his grenades? That's why he's awesome? He's awesome because of his stupidity may convinced other stupid people to return and be affected by long term biological mutations which will be inherited on-down broken DNA sequences?

Yes, I guess grandpa Ivan is really is awesome after all...

  • @TheDogThatMeows Most of the people that returned to their homes within the Exclusion Zone are old people, men and women in their late 50's and up, so they wont have any children, however I do agree that they'll have to live and deal with the consequences of radiation themselves, and that's not necessarily smart, but I think that ultimately is their choice to make and their right. Another story is the 8 mil people that live outside the Excl. Zone but in contaminated areas.

  • Crazy.

  • @DrHoffmanZX a stunning analysis. thorough. logical. avoided assumptions. was not the result of misinformation (or the complete lack of understanding -- no knowledge of the situation aside from "REACTOR-ISN MACHINE GO BAD", etc).

though, given that bigots and racists such as yourself tend to detach themselves from reality and logic, i assume you don't care.

  • now it happened something very similar to it in japan

  • I give great respect for Ivan, who stayed there

  • @arbitar222 spell check: "All those poor people who went on a suicide mission to save their country, lives, and families are respected for life."

  • I don't care what you say, that guys is a bad ass. You know a man loves his land/country when he threatens to basically get him self killed just so he can stay.

  • about the grandpa: strangely enough, the radiation in the zone is spread pretty unevenly. there are places it barely exceeds safety levels, there are places it's horrifyingly high(i.e. the red forest). it's possible he lives in one of the safer spots and doesn't get sick because of that.

  • Chernobyl have a major amount of radiation the people still fucking dying! my grandfather worked at the Chernobyl reactor. back then i was a kid so I don’t remember much(15 years later my grandfather die because of the fucking radiation. He's paid a lot of money for the surgery even the money could not safe his life. so i think Chernobyl is not a good place for tourist....

  • 1:35 at first glance, i thought it was a KFC sign
