Build a subway-line between the Railway Station and the Airport.
Is Wellington a small and poor capitol of a small and poor country ??
Subway-stations should be at:
The Cable Car - Civic Centre - Cuba/Manners - Courtenay Place - Massey University - Hospital - Newtown - The Zoo - Kilbirnie - The Warehouse(Lyall Parade)
Also there should be a decent shelterd direct walkway between Courtney Place and Te Papa museum.

The good and safe Manners Mall has been replaced by this eye sore ! 74% of Wellington citizens didn't want it...but we got it...11.5 millions dollars to take away a pedestrian safe haven...thanks for the clip Fritz ...when will the cars and buses be allowed to get back up Cuba Mall...Come on city councillors see what cock ups you can give us in the coming three year term !

It's not as bad as it looks Bryan - the bus was already on the intersection as the light turned amber. The light you see on the video is the one on the far side of the intersection. The first set of lights was green as the bus approached the Victoria - Manners St. intersection. Don't think the driver would have dared to do anything wrong - he knew I was filming. Cheers, Fritz
