imo original pickups are much better than anythin aftermarket unless its something really expencive and handmade. And i prefer single coils on strat, leave humbackers for ibanez and gibson users )

the SD pickups were put in there by the previous owner. and they sound really great imo. i bought the guitar for the sound. i found out they were SDs later on.
i still have the originals. i'm putting them in a strat i'm building at the moment. but they have a lower output, and the late 70's strat pickups are not the best out there in terms of strat tone...
i rarely use the humbucker. but i use the bridge pickup rarely anyway. it does sound pretty good though. and noiseless...
