My boyfriend and I visited National Aviation Theme Park Aviodrome in Lelystad, the Netherlands. Outside a 1928 replica of Schipol Amsterdam airport, the staff pulled out a Cessna 172. My boyfriend has zero actual flight experience, but for €185 he flew me in the little plane (with minor coaching from a fully licensed pilot). He had complete control of the aircraft the majority of the flight.
We almost didn't get to fly because of the dense fog throughout the day. It cleared for an hour window, allowing us to fly. It returned minutes after we landed.
I was in the backseat attempting to catch everything on video and via DSLR, so my hands were shaky. I had to hold the camera above my head to get the flight panel, as two very tall Dutch men were barely fitting the Cessna seats. :) In total the flight was 20+ minutes, but I have edited this down. My boyfriend is on the right, pilot on the left!
