John Schmidt describes and demonstrates a simple but often overlooked way to play position from a ball in the jaws to a ball on the short rail near it. A nice one to add to your arsenal.

  • Another great tid bit of knowledge!

  • @californiagil Enough tidbits and you have a decent arsenal of shots to call on for any situation. I really love these short vids with simple stuff you can apply right away.

  • please oh please post more of these videos i love all of these and have helped my one pocket game especially quite a bit.

  • @RayHusted I know, I keep intending to get more edited but something always seems to get in the way. I will try hard to get some more up. Some of these videos have additional discussion about them at my site PoolBum.com.

  • Thanks for the post. This is a great shot. I love watching John shoot. Such a great player.

  • Your welcome. I've been very fortunate regarding the fine players I have met and competed against. I would have to say that John is about the top of that list. He's a true champion and has no problem sharing what he knows. The fact that he approved posting these videos speaks to that very well. He's a great guy.

  • man im a pretty solid player but i didnt think about that. Nice shot thanks for posting this.

  • Glad you got something of value from the video. Hmm, maybe you could get a little piggy bank and put my shares in it until it builds up to... oh I don't know... maybe $500, lol.

I have many more hours of video of John but have been too busy to edit and post. I hope to get back to my 1 new posting per week soon.
