I HAVE KNOWN THIS SONG ALL MY LIFE
(1962)...LOVE IT AND CAN LISTEN TO IT TIME AFTER TIME...TRUELY AN INSPIRATION FROM A GREAT ARTIST...THAT SOUND...
The whole album is definately his best along with another album of the same year (1962) Twangy guitar and silky strings. If you do not have it already you must get it!

  • OKayy the intro sounds soooo familiar, HAS to be used in another famous song!

  • @JiS01

Not impossible. But since this is from 1962 I would say the other famous song composer would have been inspired by this one...

  • im in heaven here.i remember... was it walkin and twistin that started off kinda slow and built up into a real throb? If you can post some more trax ID JUST LOVE IT!

  • I am going to put Walkin'nTwistin in the next 15mn. The others would be a bit difficult as I need ot convert from LP.

  • that was like a train comin along. And tho the background cover looks blue here it was peppermint green.RIGHT?

  • I think It depends on the print as It was distributed by several companies (although originally RCA Victor. It did have a hint of green on my dad's RCA version.

  • Oh Yeah !

  • that's one hell of a-twanging!

  • @JiS01 Its very similar to the opening of Summertime Blues.

  • @JiS01 Movin and Groovin

  • Super bon guitariste!!! J'adore

  • When it first came out this was my very first electric guitar album and I have it to this day: Twistin' 'N' Twangin.

    Great tune

  • it's the same with the Peavy guitar made for Darrel Higham. He used one P 90 on neck and one de Armond on bridge like Eddie Cochran but on the usual model you can't find this pick ups.
