@jackiechan511 Honestly, the car is faster than my grandma.

Now thats fast.

@tsokira...that so cool.

Almost like an interurban operation, like the San Fernando Valley lines of the Pacific Electric., or the old Illinois Terminal suburban service around Saint Louis.
-
But Toronto has RF signal changing, using the same technology that Ambulances, Fire Trucks and Police cars have; which, in a sense, is traffic priority. Also, the streetcar separate grade roadway is not meant as rapid transit (but will be if the Lakeshore West LRT comes into effect), so it follows traffic, in the same way buses must.

Calgary isn't the only one with traffic priority. Streetcars in Poland have right-of-way, especially when crossing from a middle of the road separate grade to a separate grade roadway on one part of the road (to give you an idea: Imagine Spadina Street as it is now. Then, at some point, the streetcars switch to the north bound lanes, which become a separate grade, 2-way roadway for streetcars. The southbound lanes become 2-way north and south lanes for cars.)

This video reminds me of the LRT in Calgary. I was wondering why doesn't it have traffic priority at intersections? There doesn't seem to be many intersections.

The Queensway right-of-way does NOT have transit priority at the signal lights, as seen in two places in the video.
I am surprised that you didn't get into trouble for hanging out the window with your video camera.

I actually wasn't hanging out the window. I had the window opened, and the camera rested on the window sill. You get a good perspective this way, and its safe.
