I was okay up to the mistake and moving to ssh,how do you change to ssh.I have the template in my shop but cant make the change link dont work..Can we change the pemitions in file manager instead of ssh? Cheers.

You have to use ssh. Also, if you have shared hosting your hosting provider can change the permissions.

I have been trying to get a template onto my cart for 3 weeks now, and nothing would work. I was literally ripping my hair out over all the so called "tutorials" on zencart.com community forum telling me what to do, but not -explaining- what to do.
