@jbblue48089 I'm not really trying to argue, because I myself think her voice is a little too much sometimes, but I do think she's done performances better than this one. I liked her performance of "Alone" on AI. I also liked her in the opening of the CMAs singing "Songs Like This". I kind of can't tell what she's singing for the whole time, but I thought it was entertaining :P

i love carrie, but this really wasn't her best performance. but everybody loses steam along the way, it obviously didn't hurt her much! :)

@mizzkitty20 She has a good voice, but she doesn't deliver a compelling performance. I went back and looked at her stuff. Her voice/style is not unique, and quite frankly, doesn't have any character. But she'll hopefully improve with age, and start doing more with that all that space on the stage. Give me Martina McBride, Wynonna Judd, Miranda Lambert, Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, Peggy Lee, Gloria Estefan, Tina Arena, Barbara Streisand, Elaine Paige, Sarah Brightman, or Annie Lennox any day.
