  • @Ephistrophy: I must disagree. The MUSIC is one of the most perfect pieces of abstract composition EVER created, 1923 remember. There is not one single note out of place. The imagery through synergism carries this film along as there are many parts that could be cleaned up. Sorry Stan didn't see it that way. The music as presented here actually deviates from the original score and suffers greatly from a technically very poor recording. Listen to Bernstein's rendition and compare:

  • ded to abel gance!

    :)

  • trains are cool o.O

  • superbe composition

  • there's nothing like the original!

  • how did they get those shots?

  • Get a load of that interlocking at 2:22

  • Merci de nous faire partager ce magnifique petit film et aussi cette superbe création dArthur Honegger. On y entend la bête et la loco, on y entend le rythme et le voyage

  • Haha ! So I disagree with Stanley Kubrick : for me this is THE most perfectly edited film ;-)

  • My late boss, Stanley Kubrick, thought this was one of the most perfectly edited films he had ever seen.
