Kathi Goertzen Returns to Seattle's KOMO-TV * 2-16-09

Seattle TV-news anchorwoman Kathi Goertzen
has returned since last September after the
FOURTH go-round for treatment of a stubborn
brain tumor - suffered during a 10-year period

Kathi and Dan Lewis together have been the
foremost weekday evening news anchoring duo
at this station since 1987

In her comeback - and hopefully the last one now,
she shares what had occurred - behind the scenes
where the doctors diagnose, and where Kathi makes documentations of her treatment

A slightly strained right eye as a result this time
needing glasses to see -
- but over it all, she's now back at work -

Well I am home for lunch and I would be lying if I said I didn't have a tear in my eye watching this vid. By far Kathy is the toughest and bravest gal on the planet. God knows she has been threw so much and hopefully all those prayers will kick in high gear and she will never have to go threw any of this ever again. Kathy is our toughest, bravest and "prettiest" News Anchor we have and we need her dearly.

I do feel sorry for Goertzen - it has aged her tremendously.

I started searching the old names on Wikipedia and and see that Wayne Cody died. That did not make the news down here in SoCal.

And, what is up with Steve Raible's face stretch? He did not need to do that...
