In this video, the buses of Hazleton Public Transit (HPT) in Hazleton, PA and Luzerne County Transportation Authority (LCTA) in Wilkes-Barre, PA are featured.

Beginning in Hazleton, the very first bus featured is a former LCTA bus now operating for HPT, still in the old LCTA paint scheme. The route numbers on Hazleton buses are displayed on what is known as the block number display on SEPTA, or in the absence of an available display, on a card in the lower right corner of the windshield.

Moving on to Wilkes-Barre, you will see the buses of LCTA as they currently appear, operating in, out, and within the Wilkes-Barre Intermodal Transportation Center.

I'm afraid I don't know. That was my first time ever visiting both locations, and I went in not even knowing what type of buses they had :) Between Hazleton, Wilkes-Barre, and then going to Scranton, it was Gillig overload that day!

Hazleton probably is somewhat light, even for being there from noon to 12:30. Wilkes-Barre seemed to have some decent ridership; I was filming there from 1:30 to 2:30. Scranton had people jamming the buses, but it was rush hour by then; I filmed there from 4:30 to 5:30. The transit routes in both Scranton and Wilkes-Barre are calling it a night by 5:45 to 6pm. Scranton has two evening loop routes.
