According to constitution of Iraq or any international law, There can't be punishment severe than, at the time of alleged crime from past.
148 Shiite got killed in aftermath of assassination attempt on life of Sadam.
Did he order by himself for each individual death?
Or,the administrative units took severe actions?
In either case Sadam,as president at that time,was immune from penal codes & punishment.
He was not dethroned till he went to gallows,
May GOD have mercy on Sadam & peace in Iraq.
