BANGALORE: "The stage will realise humanitarianism, the people who are gathered here are respected in their fields of education and justice, these are the most important people who will make the others realise on humanitarianism and secularism," said the Minister for Law, Urban Development and Parliamentary Affairs S Suresh Kumar at the Taralubalu Hunnime celebrations at the Palace Grounds in the city on Monday. The celebrations were based on the theme of humanitarianism and secularism.

Speaking on the occasion, Justice Nagmohan Das said, "man created religion, and not religion creating man. Politics and communalism are related, and the community disappearance is religion and politics. For Indians, the only sacred book is the Constitution and we all should follow the same".

"Caste is different in people's language and logically it gives different meaning. Everyone is a human being and we should not differentiate among anyone. In our society religion is no longer a religion, but has been converted to caste, but in our Constitution we treat people equally," seer Dr Shivamurthy Shivacharya Mahaswamy said.
