@deathxe5 Many bartenders (myself included) choose not to start drinks in a pint glass with ice already in it. Pouring it over ice melts the ice more than it needs to be, and gets you a better drink in the end (in my humble opinion).

@justdar Indeed, freshly-squeezed juice is such a 'must'. The same goes for good orange liqueur. Nothing can ruin a drink faster and more brutally than cheap triple sec.

If you are on a budget, you don't always have to use the fancy liquors like she did, but using fresh juices are always a must.

@mojitoevents shaken cocktails, unlike stirred cocktails come out very cold (the shaking melts more ice into the drink) so you don't have to chill the glass for them.

Rachel is indeed a cocktail freak. You know she is cause she's using cognac and quantro rather then ordinary brandy and triple seck. Coudln't agree more about the juice, though.
