  • i have the s1500M (mac version). why is it that after I scan something, I basically only get the scan to folder option. i don't have the option for it to go into the scansnap organizer (at 1:10 mark). I can only save i to a folder as a pdf image and then open it up using adobe (or preview). I wanted to try using the management software but i am not sure why i don not have that option. note, i just recently did the mac update procedures so all updates are up to date.

  • S1500M: Why do EU buyers have to pay extraordinarily more for exactly the same item as US buyers?

Any additional costs that (may) occur for doing business in EU cannot justify a multinational company charging 30% more for an identical item. With the net, we can instantly see price differentials, & such practices don't impress EU buyers with your products/brand.

Such pricing really pisses off EU buyers, & puts off buying it in the first place - don't care how good it is, I won't be getting one!

  • Why is the S1500M so expensive in the UK?? Really bugs me.

    • Amazon US: $420 = c.£265.

    • Amazon UK: £415 = c.$656.

    • Amazon US *with the 20% UK VAT added*: $504 = c.£318.

So £97 more (or 30% more!), even after adding VAT. Is this not a rip-off?! (not Amazon's fault, but surely the manufacturer's).

This isn't even an Amazon thing either... Same issue even if if you look at the full SRRP prices:

    • US: $500 = c. £315.

    • UK: £500 = c. $790.

    • US *with the 20% UK VAT added*: $600 = c. £380.

  • Vicosal1 I just ordered a scanner too but I got the s1300 iam getting it delivered on Monday and going to use it with Evernote I can't wait to go paperless

  • No Twain drivers, why?

  • Rachel Morrison's important information is on her backside.

  • Hi Michael, do you have a comparison of the file size that Scansnap generates (pdf files) with regards to other scanners?

For example scanning in my HP all-on-one generates huge pdf files (approx. 250 KB per page!). Which means that a multipage document will be megabytes making it difficult to email it.

Can you send me a link where I can find a comparison or some time of analysis regarding pdf file size generated by ScanSnap S1500?

    Thanks.

  • hey were can i buy it at ???

  • Thank you for the video. Still wonder if you can install the Scansnap on more than one computer.
