This is a beautiful version of the Supremes evergeen. Hautingly interpreted by underrated country singer Jonell Mosser. It was recorded for the soundtrack to the movie "Hope Floats" released in 1998. The movie starred Sandra Bullock, Gena Rowlands, Harry Connick, Jr. and Michael Paré.

  • @beanielandschool Get the wax out of your ears dear! It's called being innovative....look up the word. Education yourself.

  • I wanna get this soundtrack, i love the movie and this music fits so well. You don't hear songs like this on the radio.

  • @ProudScotsmanRex There is a lot of country music like this!!! :) I don't like that new stuff but this is amazing.

  • still gives me goosebumps, (Supremes who?), incredible voice. if you never have, you must see Jonell live..... a memory to stay with you forever.....

  • THIS SUCKS!!!!

I CAN SING IT WAAAAAAAAAYYYY BETTER!

They Should Have Put the Original Version!!!!!! Diana Ross is way better than this overrated POS!!!!!!

  • I love this version of this classic Supremes tune! I never knew it could be so cool as a haunting ballad. Wow!

  • I dislike country music, however I love this movie and this version of this timeless tune. If country was a little more like this song or singer, yeah i'd be a country fan

  • Nashville percussionist and songwriter Cathey Stamps did this uncredited arrangement when she , Mosser and Kathy Mac performed in Yo' Mama. Jonell still nails it!

  • Nashville percussionist and writer Cathey Stamps did this arrangement for Yo' Mama - a band she, Mosser and Kathy Mac performed in since the 80s. Sounds as good as ever!
