Right, this video features over 200 horns from traction including class 37's, 60's, 66's, 67's, Voyagers, HST's and 165/166's from such places as Patchway, Cholsey, Didcot, Parson ST, Bedminster, Tamworth plus many more.

For a bonus i added the NMT T 'n' T Valenta's in at the end

  • Well, from that I can deduce a couple of things: 1. 37s have a really crappy horn, and 2: HST drivers seem to like playing a tune!

  • Correct, waving is more successful ad it doesn't make you look like a complete nutter! Don't wave with two hands! It's very dangerous and the driver could possibly stop incase of an emergancy. Beware!

  • Forgive me but why the hell do trains really have horns? I have always wondered. Is it for safety or some kind of communication?

  • you can either do a big wave with one or to hands, or do a horn chain pulling action, id wave on a bridge or embankment, and do the horn chain on a station.

  • r tha voyagers the ones that look like virgin trains?
