Therese - this is what helps me.....a Tibetan Buddhist axiom. Whenever we feel wretched and desolate - embrace the divine spirit within us and tell the universe this sentiment.........

"The sea is so vast and wide, and my boat is so tiny and fragile. That is why I need to practice more compassion for myself."

Developing self love and self compassion has helped me a great deal with clinical depression.

Keep hope alive!

Great idea! I especially relate to the perfect mom weight. Our society teaches us that lie from an early age. Funny, our kids don't have a list of what makes a perfect mom. I just remember things about my mom like...her nightgowns, her curly hair, bacon and eggs, music in the morning, and cartoons on Saturdays. Not 'perfect mom' stuff by any means. But I do make a list for myself. :-(

Another Great Video Therese, I carry at least forty extra pounds in my backpack, everyday,& everywhere. It's not only my guilt, it's my shame and my fear. I truly must offload most of this excess stuff(books mostly)
