  • The world lost a true gentleman when John Denver died R.I.P.

  • its like his music was so powerful yet very calm and his lyrics are simple but have such great depth and emotion ,real music at its best :)

  • This voice is a shiny diamond even today, and it will always be!

  • I feel obligated to respond to such an ignorant person who shall remain nameless, otherwise soulless and unredeemable... But I digress, don't just listen to the music, rather be the music

  • This music is just as boring today.

  • I Liked Johnny and George, think george still acts. But thats not the reason im watching this ,i love this song ,John had a one in a million voices ,like Karen Carpenter ,Jim Croce ,James Taylor , Donavan etc...from the 60s and 70s..

  • tears are running down my face.....

  • Playing the trumpet as a kid, I wished to be as talented as doc Severinsen.

  • Carson MD corrected my hypospadias a birth defect. God Bless Dr. Carson now deceased. Love him always.

  • I didn't even know who John Denver was until I moved to Colorado in 1979. What a voice. His untimely death hurt me a lot.

  • @LardInATubeSock Just a joke stemming from a quote from a movie. I don't really think he was full of shit, I have a lot of respect for him - especially after he stood up to the PMRC.

  • @BlackSabbathory How so?

  • Like Jim Croce, John Denver died in a tragic plane crash. His talent is sorely missed today. The artists today don't write ballads this simple, yet, so beautiful. I remember hearing this in that old 1974 Subaru GL my parents had when we lived in Shiprock, New Mexico. I miss you, Johnny!

  • i love JD now and so sad he's gone, love NETFLIX it allowed me to introduce JD to my 12yr old baby girl via "OH GOD" 1 and 2 with JD and george burns. she loved both movies and john denver. i love to show my little girl movies and the music from my time and she really does love them.

  • Check out Doc's body suit - lol

  • I LOVE this song. He wrote and sang the most lovely songs. I had that record album, I think it was the second one I got when I was 12 yrs old. I still find myself singing his songs. Wonderful artist.

  • What a voice!!!What a talent!!!

  • @ferraromike808 He also cheated on his wife many times. Yeah, that's really loving! lol

  • He was full of shit, but I dig his music. What a voice.

  • In his prime
