This allows you to dedicate one power supply to your motherboard and processor, and the second one to your drives and high demand graphics cards, lowering the strain on your power supplies, improving stability, and decreasing temperature from the power supply.

Please note that if you mess up and blow up your house, I am in no way liable for it.

REVISION: you do not have to connect the gray power good cables together, just keep one connected to the motherboard, i have not had any problems with both connected but i beliee this may cause issues

  • Acually its called the ATX form factor, every case, motherboard, power supply, and component must comply with it to ensure compatibility, the cable colors are the same on all ATX power supplies.

  • Why grey? Ground and green gets mine running.

  • grey is power-good, you don't need it.
