larp monster

Larp-Monsters are not movie-monsters. They act in a non-choreographed environment, have to be fast and hard-hitting to be effective, get regularly beaten up by overenthusiastic character players and have to fulfil the security requirements necessary for not to injure people . They can´t and won´t compete with the modern cg movie-creatures, but it sure is a lot of fun to meet one in the woods- if you´ve got a long sword, a few well-armed fellows and preferably a battle wizard or two.

@Twilightwolves1 Oh yes indeed. But on the other hand- I might be predjudiced... it´s a helluva lot of work, immense logistics, we´re in the open rain, wind, and shine with no jack-wolfskin-products in range. While other people like wandering in the woods we try not to get eaten by orks. And steel armour becomes a real nuisance after a few hours.

But yes- it´s fun. Sort of.
