Bollywood does Superman in the 80s. It is badly acted, badly directed, badly filmed, and makes no sense whatsoever. And just to add that extra level of offensiveness, the whole project is probably illegal. Jor-El was played by Dharmendra and perhaps a lot of footage was stolen from Hollywood.

Wait the description makes it sound like it's a bad thing. That's what Indian film making has always been about, blatant plagiarism, disregard for copyright or intellectual property and the bad acting, direction etc. Given all that, Indians consider bollywood the best thing to happen to the entertainment scene since color TV's.
