@hoopztube Cleverness? Andrew Denton suggesting he could have saved his marriage is inappropriate and I would have personally been greatly offended. Really, I think this shows the mark of a really amateur interviewer who doesn't know how to handle someone who is delicate and in a bad place.

True story about this interview, Kevin Costner left the studio, very annoyed with how the interview went, and punched the mirror out on his Limo. I think the cleverness of Denton really got to him in the end.

I watched all three parts of this interview - Kevin (although a little uncomfortable) was a very gracious guest. My guess is that he isn't used to dry Aussie wit....but overall, he handled the Denton treatment very well. I love his movies - they are both thought provoking and entertaining at the same time. How many actors can say that these days, not many.
