Les, who is classically trained, is moving at Hyper speed. In this video, he's playing the Starr Labs Ztar MIDI Guitar in a Neo Classical meets Bach and Vivaldi influenced style on his own composition.

The Ztar can be strummed with string triggers or tapped with one or both hands as seen in this video.

The backing is done with Ableton Live using Clip launching and "follow actions" techniques.

The main lead sound is the Arturia Moog Modular V and the Logic ES2. Background sounds are from an M-Tron, Roland XV-5080 and Arturia Soft Synths. The sounds at the intro are made with Propellerhead Reason.

No. I just have the Z7s model that you see here. I prefer it because it's quite a bit lighter, weight wise, and it just seems more comfortable for me. IMHO...

yes i do see what u mean it does have some slight faults in how fast u can strum and play and sometimes it will play the wrong note. thanx

@blackghost1094 No, the Roland is a Pitch to MIDI system and cannot duplicate what you see here. And you could NEVER play this fast on a pitch to MIDI setup, regardless of what the guitar is.

One of those guys who makes the impossible seem easy.  Fradkin is one of those influencial singer musicians who most have never heard of. (ELH,Left Bank The Godz etc.I think he even wrote jingles?

dude, its les fradkin. he played george harrison in the broadway production beatlemania. has released like 30 albums and has mad respect from his peers. he played with bowie guitarist mick ronson as well. ...so yeah, don't think you can just get one of these and be good!
