thl part1 (MP4 blocky version)

An audio tribute to Tom Heasley (Tuba + Echoplex master!). Recorded using my homebrew loop machine (see zenpho.co.uk/toshiba.shtml)

Visuals created by slowly panning across a much larger (3072x2048) out of focus still image processed to be very noisy and edge-processed, then forcing the MP4 compression to a bitrate well below the safe threshold for moving images with that much detail.

Every frame is out of control, the compression algorithm ends up making up it's own textures and images from the source material!
