@rstscott it's a stiletto seat. I think they were originally sold under the yamaha name, but actually mfg'd by Corbin...at some point, I think that changed....rumor has it, the corbins were nicer than the NOT corbin variety.

if yamaha isn't selling these in their parts catalog anymore, you can still find them every now and then on Ebay for a decent price.

hmm your vstar engine seems to whine a lot more than mine does.. sounds like u have a belt driven bike..

I think the whine you were hearing, was just due to where the camera was sitting, and the sometimes not so great audio reproduction coming from a point and shoot digital camera.

No that wine is normal, I have a hypercharger and it makes it wine a little more

You have the same exhaust I do, slightly different sound, but i tell you what I think the cobra 2 into 1 is the best
