  • Haha. Yeah...little behind the times there, urjr8891? These Mac Pros are on the verge of becoming full-on WORKSTATIONS baby!

  • Actually... the 2.66ghz quad 64bit Xeon is only like 10% faster than the 2.5ghz quad 64bit G5 and it was release one year after the quad g5. So... macs have been ahead of pcs (intel) for a long time... But thats the 2.66ghz xeon, probably the 3.0ghz is much faster. But with the same clock (2.66 x 2.5) the performace between the chips is pretty much the same

  • with the mac pro, macs are finnaly up to par w/ pcs speedwise, at least when it comes to dual booting. good job apple :)
