you need to run 91+ cuz the low octane stuff combusts prematurely in the cylinders from pressure and not a spark. low octane in a turbo = timing issues/blown engine in the long run

STi's run a min of 91 octane, but i always use 93 if its an option (depending on the state). you feel a power difference only using 91. even the fuel door says "premium unleaded fuel only." i hope this helps

All the turbo cars are recommended to use premium fuel but I have petted medium in mine but never tried regular it decreases performance plus I want my engine to be clean.

ahh thanks for that, what size downpipes do u have? and what turbos do u have, not sure if u are in aussie, but the b4 we get has the VF32/33.

em there magnex belmouth dwnpipes im nt sure of the bore m8.turbos are twin vf 34's from a sti impreza!
