Marvelous portrait. Working from a mirror is so much better than from a photo— its the real thing. (But it sure doesn't look like you're 40! 29, maybe—)

Wonderful ! I tried to do a self portrait once - in pastel - but found that as I was going through the day - the light would change in the little mirror I was using - it was hard to get consistency hehe -- you did a great job !

Thanks Lucieb, it was very challenging and I think my stern look tells how hard I was finding it !

Thanks Sycra, as you can see I struggled a lot with drawing: from a mirror one cannot measure, also while observing a feature you don't realize you are actually moving away from the original position.
