British wild boar

There are thousands of feral and wild boar roaming the British countryside's darker woods, and shooting them has become an established sport. We review the state of British wild boar in Britain today - in Kent's Ashdown Forest and in the Galloway Forest in Scotland, where one boar gets a bit too close for comfort! And we look at how it's done in Croatia. This film first appeared in Fieldsports Britain, episode 13.

@Jack70903 There are already legal. Buckshot up to .36 is legal to use on a SGC. Larger shot and slugs can be used on an FAC.

@Natz6 letting nature take its course would just result in alot of boar competing for food ,disease and poor health would follow as they have no natural predators to keep numbers in check.nature went out the window the minute humans changed the face of the earth so much that animals adapted to our world.to leave nature to balance everything it would take 100s of years and many weaker species would die out,why cant nature keep on top off huge rabbit nmbrs that have to be shot each year eh?

i do not know how significant it is but in third world countries this problem do not exist. the wild boars/pigs are almost extinct. all hunted out for food, at least in the nonmoslem areas. maybe someone can help these poor countries by developing something like this as a food source there. these pigs can survive even in those countries with deep winters without even being attended to by man. all that is needed is to let loose some boars and sows in the wild.

When going to the grocery store is no longer an option...the tree huggers, animal rights people and green peacers will resort to eating what? Each other? Dirt? No, they will rob and pillage from the rest of us God Fearing Hunters and outdoorsman who can and will survive on what God has given us. Animals are food to be treated properly and managed as such. I would rather be shot than die of mange and freeze to death when its cold.
