I booked Michael in Chattanooga back in 2001. It was a risk. No one in this southern town had heard of him, but I'd been following his music for years and felt others needed to hear. Not many showed up. But it was okay. I payed Michael (cuz it was the right thing to do) and we went down the street for some drinks & conversation. That's when I got to know him a bit more. Suffice it to say, those few hours over a scotch or two has inspired me to this day. And this song? A continuation of that nite

There are thousands of songs better than this one. If this song came on the radio while driving at night down the highway, I'd fall asleep and wind up in the ditch sure as hell.
