Upperton Rd Viaduct project Pt.3

The third video shows the new road two days after its opening. Work will now continue to remove the temporary road and make good the site. This should be completed by December 2008, when I will make a fourth and final video.

Hi,

It's a Canon S5 IS. Essentially a "still" camera but does excellent DVD quality video as well. Throughly recommended. This is the camera I use for my own organ videos but I record the sound separately with a mini-disc recorder, which can be connected direct to the organ amplifier output.

Thanks for comment. Having lived in and around Leicester for most of my 68 years I've seen many changes but find it hard to recall exactly how things used to be after major modifications have taken place, so videos seem like a good idea as a reminder.

Ah, excellent video. I've been meaning to get down there and take some myself now the new road is open; I went down mid-August when they were doing the finishing touches; but now my sixth form studies have started it won't be for a while. Cheers for this Paul.
