The ironic thing is, although this version is reduced and jokingly "modern" in it's references/choreography, the tone/atmosphere is much more similar in tone/action/slapstick to what the play would've been like in Shakespeare's time, when it was performed for the crowds in the Globe, then most modern productions. The ad-libbing, the interaction with the audience, the coming out of character, the jokes, and the puns, not to mention the women dressed as men!
