Not all bands these days can't perform as well as this. One exception I can think of is The Strokes, where their live TV performances are pretty much spot-on every time.

Yep, thats it. Its all image and no substance. Muisc today is either a recycled 80's hit or some mechanically written song without emotion. Its really depressing. 2000-2009 has past and I haven't discovered any good music from that era.

Wow, this is live? Bands today can't preform like the bands of the 75-80's era. Everything from the sound quality to the instrumant preformance is amazing. Music like this could never be born under today's conditions

It's because the bands focus only on their image and fitting a specific image, rather than having any kind of substance to their music. It's a very lame scene for music in the world.
