i still think gundam is way better than evangelion, the mechs are to skinny, and they cocentrate to much on its pilot.

thats because evangelion isn't about the mechs like the various gundam shows are, its about the people piloting them. the gundam shows can be fun to watch, but eva makes you think about things.... and the only gundam show worth watching as far as i'm concerned is 8th MS Team
