Yehuda Glantz on charango playing Adon Olam in Buenos Aires, Argentina at the Teatro Coliseo (1992) This is a recording live from the Pionero Unity Tour concert series. A native of Argentina, Yehuda Glantz, combines Latin rhythms with Chassidic rock beats to produce upbeat spiritual music Yehuda is a unique and original artist in the Israeli and universal Jewish world art scene.
At early 5 years old, his talent in music began to show signs and during these years he acquired a deep and wide knowledge of music in a number of instruments.
Since 1979 he lives in Jerusalem and is renown among first-rate artists in Israel and throughout the world. His many faceted Jewish musical creations, which include pop, jazz and South-American rhythms, together with his electrifying and colorful appearance on stage have attracted large audiences worldwide. The charango with its warm and authentic sounds brought Yehuda from Argentina together with words of the Jewish tradition to fuse exclusive, happy music!
A true renaissance artist bound by a vision to expand Simcha (joy) and Emuna (faith).
Yehuda Glantz sees his music as a way of opening channels of communication among various segments of the Jewish People, religious and secular.
When Yehuda appears on stage with his charismatic performance, he transforms the crowd from formally attired to a stomping assemblage.
The music has a deep spiritual message for all the people.
His cds "Na'ale", "Rak Litzok el Hashem", "Pionero", "Gotta Dace (Muchrachim Lircod)", 'Granite", Adon Olam (cd video), Kasach, "In concert in South America", "Unplugged", as well as his latest released DVD "Nomade" Yehuda Glantz and the Israel Symphony Orchestra fuses contemporary arrangements, classical and innovative compositions, a melange of inspired music.
The results show in his work and set new standards in Contemporary music.
